Order Acceptance Policy

Lightingmerch.com reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason or to supply less than the quantity you ordered of any item. We typically would reach out to you if we can not fulfill the quantity you ordered, and we will notify you of the amount of quantity we have, you will have the chance to let us know how we should proceed with your order.
Out-of-Stock Products
We will ship your product as they become available. There may be times when the product you have ordered is out-of-stock which will delay fulfilling your order. We will keep you informed of any products that you have ordered that are out-of-stock and unavailable for immediate shipment. You may cancel your order at any time prior to shipping.
Typographical Errors
In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing information received from our suppliers, Our Store shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. Our Store shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, Our Store shall immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price. We typically would never charge a customer until their order has been shipped, so a refund would almost never be necessary.

An order can only be cancelled before it enters the shipping process.
Once an order (item) has left the manufacturers facility and is on the way to our facility, this order is considered a return. Please see our return policy.
Taxes
Lightingmerch.com shall automatically charge and withhold 6.875% sales tax for orders to be delivered to addresses within New Jersey. We do not charge sales tax for orders shipped out of New Jersey.

Payment Methods
The following are the method of payments we accept on our website: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and PayPal. There is no fee for using your credit card to make purchases. Damaged Items
In the event that an item is damaged in transit, we will do everything we can to resolve the matter immediately. When items are shipped by FedEx or UPS, we must contact them within 48 hours to ensure a quick, free of charge resolution. Upon inspecting the merchandise, please contact us by calling our toll free number (800) 686-0139 or through email, noting what was damaged, so that we can assist you immediately and expedite a new item right away.
For larger items that are shipped via freight carrier, you must inspect the item on site, and mark any noticeable defects on the bill of lading or refuse delivery. Once you do so, please call our toll free number right away so we can file a claim with the carrier and expedite a replacement immediately. If you do not plan on inspecting the items on site, you must note the delivery receipt 'subject for inspection' otherwise Lightingmerch.com or the freight carrier will not take any responsibility for the damages. This is extremely important for larger items that are shipped VIA freight carrier. When we ship larger items with UPS Freight or any other freight service, our shipping update email will indicate very important delivery and instructions information which you must follow. Not following these instructions may result in your loss.
In the rare event of a manufacturer defect, we ask you to call our toll free number with a detailed explanation of the problem or issue. One of our Customer Care representatives will instruct you on how to get your item replaced, or get the correct parts expedited to you. Please take photos of the defective item, we will need that to process a defect claim.

From time to time, Seller may provide certain products that cannot be resold as new "Items". Items include samples given to Contractor for review of said Items. In consideration for receipt of such Items, and other good and valuable consideration, the sufficient of which is hereby acknowledged, the Contractor agrees as follows: NO RETURN: Such Items are offered free of charge and cannot be returned for refund, credit or otherwise. WARRANTY: Given the nature of these items, Seller provides them "AS IS", WHERE IT IS, WITH ALL FAULTS AND WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER ORAL OR WRITTEN, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. SELLER SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES INCLUDING THOSE OF MERCHANTABILITY, SATISFACTORY QUALITY, NON-INFRINGEMENT AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

INDEMNITY: Furthermore, Contractor agrees to defend, indemnify and hold Seller harmless from any and all claims, actions, causes of action, demands, damages and liabilities of whatever type as a result of the use of the Items(s).
