Clarence Mallari designed the Countervail Rectangular Chandelier with its panes of thick cast glass. The textural surfaces were the inspiration for this piece because the mottled nature of the glass enhances the glow of the chandelier. Each piece of the material that is fastened to a metal frame in an antique brass finish is unique. Mallari designed the panes to be fastened in place with sophisticated screws, which makes each piece removable.
